Unlike Whiz Kids, this next entry made no attempt to disguise itself--it WAS an ad. A really, really bad ad. It ran on the back of Marvel's comic books in 1989. It's a three-parter for Colgate toothpaste! And I'm guessing the superhero here is Captain America simply because he was the cheapest one to buy the use of. Either that or he really, really cares about dental hygiene.

FACT: Captain America was the result of a secret American "supersoldier" experiment in World War II, hence Cap's outfit, which just wouldn't work in any other era. This must also mean that the living tube of toothpaste was from the 1940's all along, just like every spinoff of Happy Days must have been also set in the 1950's.

....Yeah, no comment from me here. It's doing the work itself.

Maybe "Superstar's magic" also had something to do with the Asian from part 1 turning into a Native American in parts 2 and 3.
These are the three worst print ads I've ever seen. If anyone thinks of mentioning those Hostess Twinkie ads, yes those were bad too, but they also had a kitschy charm. This has nothing going for it. Count Plaqula's not even wearing pants--did you notice they never really show his crotch area?

RETURN TO THE WORST COMIX EVER!
