EarthBound 64

Screen Shot The original EarthBound for the Super NES dazzled and delighted role-playing fans in search of something a little different. Instead of magical amulets in medieval worlds, EarthBound delivered flying saucers, drugstores that sell armor and the Annoying Old Party Man.

The band plays on EarthBound 64 promises to plunge players into even stranger situations, all of which take place in a stunningly realized 3-D world. Screen shots of this work in progress display gorgeous landscapes and buildings, all rendered with painstaking attention to detail. Light-sourcing from fireplaces and candles auger a game that's rich in visual drama. Although still in development, EarthBound 64, promises plenty of offbeat fun, including a jazz combo that's way cool, daddy-o.
