The fifth box of Playmobil's advent calendar brought a surprise - a little plastic yellow candle lamp. Now, I don't doubt that there's a proper term for the kind of lamp pictured above, but I just can't for the life of me remember what it's called. Maybe a lantern? I always pictured lanterns with a more, I dunno, girlish figure. Almost shaped like an '8.' If you're wondering why I'm droning on and on about this, it's pretty simple to explain. I just don't know what else to say about a 1" plastic candle lamp.
If you look at the candle itself from the right angle, it kind of looks like a severed lady finger. It's a thought that's a bit sobering, but it makes me enjoy the toy a whole lot more than I normally would. Who wouldn't want a tiny severed finger in it's own tiny toy display carrier? So, to bring you up to speed, so far we've attained the following items: two lambs of varying sizes, a fence, a bunny salad, and a severed lady finger in a yellow display carrier. It all really screams Christmas, doesn't it?
