The Happy Candle Wand, to its credit, does look festive. Unfortunately, the star shape makes it look more festive towards Hanukah than Christmas, but at least this toy has something remotely to do with a holiday than the previous six. It seems like Playmobil is building towards something here, but I'm still not sure what that 'something' is. Animals, candles, salad...the list keeps growing, but so does the level of curiosity. What purpose will the Happy Candle Wand ultimately serve? The mind wonders, and the mind wanders...
Well, Mare Winningham needed something to keep those lambs and rabbits in line. The Happy Candle Wand could be used as a fire-tipped whip. Let me tell ya - when I bought this advent calendar, the last thing I thought it'd let me do was make Mare torture animals into subservience. It just goes to show you - there's treasure everywhere. Viva la Playmobil.
