Alissa and Angella are pretty cool names. My sisters name is Angela, and she really likes the name Emma but probally won't go for it because people are telling her it's an old name.

Don't give it any of those names that make him or her sound all precious, like "angel" or "happygirl" or "lesbianforlife". Give it a name like "brick". Then you can say "This is my son, brick. He's as dumb as a brick."

I can tell you what NOT to name the kid!

"Emma" sounds old, you're right, but so is "Gertrude," so don't even consider it. A name even more geriatric is "Bea." There are a ton of old ladies named Bea; just call the name in an old folks home and you should hear about 20 people croak, "W-w-w-haaaat?"

Also keep in mind, in a generation or two every other old lady will be named JENNIFER. Don't use common names now either...like Jenny, Lisa(sorry, Lisa...oh right, she can't read this), or for boys, Michael.

Oh yes, and some names also carry curses. About every weird girl I've met has been named Amy(except for Suicune; uh; r-really); and every annoying boy has been named Josh. So be wary of those as well.

If it's a girl, I've always loved the name Kira. If I have a girl, that's what I'm going to name her. And even though I wouldn't personally name my son this, I think the name Zane is cool.

my sister has'nt decided on a name yet but the 2 she likes the best are Alisha and Samantha.
