I just played this with my 3 friends for a good hour and a half. And that was before we turned on all the goofy powerups and stuff. This game is ****ing awesome, way more fun than these modern sports games. Nothing beats this game's multiplayer, it's universal. And I would own you at it. I have both versions, but my second SNES controller was on the fritz, so we stuck with Genesis. I think the SNES version might be superior. --- Join in on One of GameFAQs' Most Historic Boards: ZSB http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=548 {εί} |

I liked Hangtime for N64. It was virtually the same thing. --- Matelite: We fly high. No lie. You know this. It's hard to be humble when you're as great as I am. |

My dislike for basketball was slightly bigger than my urge to buy this game, so I never even played it, but I heard nothing but praise for it back in the day (and today still). --- Currently playing: Final Fantasy III (NDS), Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii) Blast from the past: http://users.ign.com/collection/Big_Bear_is_back |

NBA Jam is great. It's kind of a timeless game. No matter how old it gets, it's always going to be the kind of game you can whip out every couple months or so and just have a blast with it like the first time you played it. The game's just plain FUN. --- Jack Bauer can't do this anymore. |

I used to have a few of the fun codes memorized, such as teleport passes and dunk from anywhere. Fun times. --- He ain't heavy, he's my brother. Juggling Joker! |

From down town! He's heating up. Boom-shaka-laka! Stolen! I loved that game. I can still remember one game where it was neck and neck. At the last few seconds I was down by one. I pass to my guy down the court, he's open, he's on fire, he goes for the dunk, he's somersaulting high into the air, and..BWAAAAAH The screen goes dark as the horn ends the game; my guy is inches from slamming the winning dunk in. I was pissed. I used to have the code for Air Dog memorized. NBA Jam character codes were as rampant in grade school as rumors about Mortal Kombat. --- Pokemon FC: 0387 5245 9401 So did Noah have dinosaurs on the ark? Yes, he did. How do you make your guy go on fire? It just happens sometimes for me, what's the trick? --- Join in on One of GameFAQs' Most Historic Boards: ZSB http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=548 {εί} |

Score 3 times uninterrupted, if I recall correctly. The other team scoring resets it/ends it, --- Pokemon FC: 0387 5245 9401 So did Noah have dinosaurs on the ark? Yes, he did. But, they were probably baby dinosaurs, |

Yeah, it's 3 unanswered scores. I still attempt to use "BOOMSHAKALAKA" in everyday conversation solely as a result of NBA Jam. I also had/have NBA Hangtime, that wasn't a bad game for the time. Formula was kind of starting to wear, but it had more extras and customization if I recall, like my evil clown player. Clinton was "ARK", I think that was the first code I tried. I remember Air Dog but not how to activate him. I have to say, the other Clinton they put in was even better. --- Eugene Levy eats at Polas' Goodtime Retro Cafe - http://www.goodtimeretrocafe.com/ Grand Polas Champion - Pirate Roberts |
