The moderator has reviewed this contest, and the decided that the moderation will stand as it was initially given. As this moderation resulted in no karma loss, it cannot be appealed.

Make sure to mod anyone who laughs because it's against the tos. They'll be lucky if they don't lose karma too!

Not trying to sound like a troll, but LMAO, ROFLMAO, and LOL are all commonly used acronyms. While I believe you that you meant just what you said when you posted "EROPTF", I wouldn't have known what you meant if I saw it, and I can see where maybe the mod might have thought the same thing. However, you did explain yourself in your contest of the moderation, so I don't understand why it wasn't overturned. However, I don't know your moderation history, so who am I to judge. To conclude this rambling, what's the big deal, you didn't lose karma?

Suggestions:

that's the most ridicilous argument i've ever heard...
if google can't find any matches of a lettercombination it's disruptive..

try: ROFL, LOL, LMAO, kthx, kthxbai etc. on google, a lot of those lettercombinations are frequently seen on gamefaqs... all disruptive i suppose. my dictionary does not list LMAO as a word, thus pretty disruptive.

Guys... This is the internet. We make up acronyms ALL THE TIME. And a GAME board nonetheless... Where we abbreviate everything. We use FF for Final Fantasy, PC for Pre-Crisis (despite it being used for Politically Correct and Personal Computer), AoE for Area of Effect... Just cuz it has no official definition, doesn't mean it's DISRUPTIVE. I mean, if he posted a whole paragraph that was senseless, I could understand but a single line? What the hell was he Disrupting?

You wouldn't get an apology out of me for this one if Ceej himself told me I was too harsh. Which he WOULDN'T, because it was an NKL, but that's beside the point.

If laughter there makes no sense, he lies. If it DOES, then you my firend, are wrong. Yes, even though you're a moderator now, you still screw up. Sorry to burst your little bubble there, life goes on. Fact of the matter is, the man created an acronym out of his ass. Have I ever heard of it? No. But hey, I'd never heard of Nysphsaa until a few years ago and that's an actual official acronym, so what do I know? Point is, there are no rules against making up acronyms. Moreover, that message isn't Disrupting a DAMN thing to begin with. Had there been a rule against acronyms I could understand, had there been a list of acceptabe ones I could understand, had it been a whole damn paragraph in all caps I could understand... But as it stands it was five letters of a really REALLY silly acronym. No reason to be deleted. Waste of effort, waste of time, and quite possibly unfair...

Argh. Last post, but only because Deadpool actually makes sense.

Heh. I'd never heard of the NYSPHSAA til 9th grade, either, but football will do that to you. However, that acronym was created by officials in the NY High school sports league- respected officials, not formerly KoSed users with a mod history a mile long.

In addition, since it was just a single disrptive post, that's why I only deleted it NKL. I did take that into account, however.

I agree with CronoGamer on the moderation, and I'm not one of his alternate accounts. Honestly, I still don't see what's the big deal, your karma wasn't affected. The moderators explained to you why it wasn't overturned, and arguing with them about it doesn't help the situation. So why do so?
