^ Most likely from the Metroid Prime board going way back into 2002. I remember he thought McGray was secretly a moderator, because during their argument his posts were being moderated. He also thought I was stalking him too, when he discovered I posted on more than one board that he did. What he didn't announce is the company's preference for working with the Xbox. It's time to finally get rid of all these Ikaruga quotes. They're all pretty much true, though. Even the one from spong. "It's crazy. It's like the game reads your mind, because the only time it ever actually decides to kill you is when you personally do something stupid." -boojie1119 "The game expresses beauty, pureness, and elegance and is certainly an experience to be savored." -Gamespot "The more I play it, the more I realize it is one of the most amazingly designed games ever made. You can't really compare it to something like Zelda, or Metroid because it's so different. But it seems lightyears ahead of most every other action game I've ever played." -three58mhz "This game is so sweet. The game design is perfect. Someone should study this." -Frigid "I'm very glad I bought Ikaruga, it's definitely expanded my expectations for video games in general." -flan2dave "When you are beaten by the game and power down your machine, you don’t feel cheated, you feel educated." -spong.com "To take 25 minutes of gameplay and construct it so that after 100 hours it is still interesting, challenging and worthy of discussion is quite an obvious testament to the depth of this game." -Doctorlan "i always believed all of this was beyond me and so i never really had a bash at getting a high score, but last night i bit the bullet, loaded up ikaruga and REALLY played it...MY GOD!" -chow "This soundtrack is close to a masterpiece imo. It really blends to the pace of the game, I'd even say that the soundtrack is part of the storyline." -LionSunZ "In short, Ikaruga is a highly sophisticated puzzle-shoot'em-up, nay, work of art, that has some [of] the most purely and perfectly placed game design set pieces that the world will see. Lovers of challenge and intense experiences will uncontrollably bawl tears of joy to the heavens for its arrival, and game design students of the future will dissect and worship it..." -computer and videogames.com "i tried stopping but it took me 20 minutes after i decided i wanted to stop... 'just 1 more' i kept telling my self and then it kept going and going!!! ive NEVER had this problem, and i've been playing video games since the atari 2600 days!" -Junaid0 "We've theorized what the hardest mode must be like, and we think maybe you just get cancer and die." -Tycho on Ikaruga "Played like any other Shooter, Ikaruga is merely great. Played the way Ikaruga is meant to played, Ikaruga is gaming perfected." -shadestreet "This game is transcendence. If you 'get it', it will change you. If you don't, it's, at the least, a hell of a ride." -eva05 "This is more then mere bullet-dodging, which is quite a feat in and of itself. It is different enough that Ikaruga literally redefines the way the shooter game is perceived. Innovation at its best is displayed here, wonderfully enchanting, fine-tuned to perfection, and unlike anything else in its field." -MechDeus, The Next Level --- The Scientist knows best...
